aaron burgess, USAF (ret.)
Aaron is a 25-year Veteran (8-years Army & 17-years Airforce). Spending his Army years at Ft. Riley, KS & Hawaii, 25th ID for Air assault & Sapper school. While in HI we went to Bosnia/Herzegovina and to Iraq. I joined the Air Force as Security Forces, spent about eight years as a base defense guy, deployed a couple times. Did fly-away missions with the Ravens for a few years going to a lot of places all over the world. Did a couple more deployments with our main Security Forces unit, then jumped into Combat Arms (weapons training instructors for the Air Force) All jokes aside to the “chair force” it was a 3-month school, granted not field intensive. I spent my remaining years as an instructor and them running our shop.

Sonny White, u.S. Army
I enlisted in the Utah National Guard right after graduating high school in 1991, starting as a combat engineer with the 1457th Engineer Battalion. After two years, I switched my MOS to heavy equipment operator with the 116th Engineers in Springville. I deployed to Iraq from 2003 to 2004 on a 16-month tour, operating heavy equipment in the Baghdad area. In my civilian career, I spent 20 years as a production manager in the truss division at Stock Building Supply and another 10 years working as a heavy equipment operator. I grew up in the Nephi-Mona area, where small-town life taught me the value of hard work and community. After getting married, I moved to Salem and lived there for many years before relocating after my divorce. I have three sons and one daughter. I love the outdoors and embrace every season, appreciating both the highs and lows—just like life itself. After returning from deployment, I struggled with the transition to civilian life and turned to alcohol to cope. With the support of the VA’s PTSD mental health team, I got sober in 2011, a journey I’m incredibly grateful for. In May 2024, I found Warrior Revival and, with it, the camaraderie I had been missing. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to giving back, helping others find the same support and hope that sobriety has given me.
Chase Farrer, U.S. National Guard
My name is Chase Farrer. I am actively serving in the Utah Army National Guard, going on 9 years. I am a 91B (mechanic) and in the civilian sector I work in manufacturing, in both maintenance and production. I'm a husband and father of one kid! I found my therapy to combat my demons through the outdoors and by helping others. My goal is to spread the knowledge of resources and to help everyone to be their best selves. I have taken a lot of varying courses so if you need help with career, school, family, cooking, folding laundry, or whatever, ask me! I host my own hiking group on Facebook titled, "Hiking for Yourself."
